
Janell is literally the farmer’s daughter. She grew up on a cotton farm just east of San Angelo, Texas and has lived in this area all her life. She graduated from Veribest Middle School, Wall High School, and Angelo State University.
Janell has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since September of 1988. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of CPAs, and San Angelo Chapter of CPAs. She was awarded Young CPA of the Year in Texas in June of 2005.
Janell began her financial services career in 1999 and worked as an assistant under Sharon Evans until Sharon retired in July of 2013 at which time Janell took over Sharon’s practice. Janell acquired Bryan Hagelstein’s financial services practice in September of 2016. Janell sold her tax practice and merged with Tactical Wealth Management in June of 2020. Janell holds FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative), 63 (Uniform Securities Agent Law Exam), 65 (NASAA Investment Advisors Law Exam) and also has insurance licenses in several states. She has clients in Texas, Michigan, Colorado, Kansas, Florida and Arizona.
As a wife and mother, she advocates conservative family values. She met her husband, Danny, in college at ASU, and they have been married since April of 1989. Danny, Janell, their daughter, Stephanie, their son, Sterling and his lovely bride, Laci, are all graduates of ASU. Janell and her family are members of St. Margaret's Catholic Church in San Angelo.
